George RenardWe grabbed a late lunch here before heading back to Lexington. This Dukes location offers an all you can eat buffet for $18. This is some of the best fried chicken that I've had in recent memory. Wonderful crunch with the right amount of seasoning. Some places go crazy with salt but not here. In my opinion, the tender BBQ pork could use more smoke. You really need to sauce it up for flavor. I like the way that they mix up chunks of pork with the chopped pork. All of the usual sides were good. Their hush puppies have just enough sweet to be addictive. Throw some powdered sugar on them for makeshift donuts. Good cole slaw and sweet tea. Friendly folks.

Veronica WrightGood down-home buffet 😋; I will definitely return. The food was flavorful and comforting, especially the hash and rice (my favorite!). My only minor issue is that the dining area sits directly in the path of the entrance, so there’s a steady flow of customer traffic coming through. It can feel a bit busy at times. Overall, a great spot for a satisfying meal.

Hushpuppies all were delicious ...the place was filling up almost full when we left at 3:30 a crowd of about 10 coming in as we left .. great job and a good price .. service was fine .

MarkI love the pulled pork and mustard based BBQ, but I think the real hidden gem is the fried chicken. I have lived all over the world, and everybody has a version of fried chicken, but Duke's is the best I've ever had. I am sad that they do not have ribs or beef brisket, but the economics of putting that on a buffet just isn't there, and the buffet is where Duke's outclasses places like Maurices or Bessingers BBQ places in nearby towns and cities by a large margin.
