Savannah BarnettI love staying here. Just the right feel of welcome in Orangeburg. They are amazing host and always very area have for any suggestions or ideas. They helped me get around town a bit. Orangeburg is a cute town.

terrytY1367XLI wanted a place to stay halfway to my destination in NC, and found this lovely place in Orangeburg. Rashell (I apologize if I misspelled your name) made sure I had what I needed before I left and gave me a lovely welcome when I got here. I had ordered a snack for my arrival and it was yummy salads and cheese. It seemed odd to me to have an extra charge for breakfast so I skipped that. The place is spotless and has many amenities. They have this area where you can get cocoa and other drinks and have a microwave and all sorts of fun sauces and flavorings you can add in. It was nice and quiet but I think Orangeburg isn't a busy city. There is wine available for purchase and free soft drinks in your fridge. I was on the second floor alone and so had my own bathroom down the hall, which was fine, just like home. I don't know if the bathroom would have been shared if there were other people here so if that bothers you, you may want to check ahead. The room was well heated and had an additional heater if you're the type that gets cold. The weather was unusually cold today so I was grateful. It's an older house with the original bathtub. My room was large and comfortable and the design and furnishings reflect the time period of the house. They don't have the history written up yet so I hope it's not haunted. Lol.

Gator9584We were only there for one night but will definitely be back. Richelle and Fred welcomed us with smiles, hugs, and delicious snacks. We met our friend, Brittney, there and had the place to ourselves. We enjoyed a beautiful night talking on the veranda. Fred created an incredible breakfast for us. Richelle saw us off after a while of sharing our stories with each other.

Liezel SmallsRachelle and Fred are the absolute best as they pour so much love into this hidden gem. They are the definition of southern hospitality. We stayed in Florence of Italy with charming decor and a comfortable bed. Chef Fred's dishes and Rachelle's tea- incredible!
