Albert David GriffinOne of the rarest jewels in SC whose history is long and mostly forgotten. Attended three events over last three weeks to celebrate and honor Black Lives in our county. The speakers were phenomenal and the food has brought my wife and I back on other nights for the food. Perfect.

Timothy OlaoreWow! This place is a whole vibe! My wife were just visiting and wanted some barbecue and found this spot. As soon as we walked in , the first person dapped me up and gave me a hug like we’d known each other for years! DJ was playing all the best jams from the 2000’s. Then we got to counter and met Tess! She was so sweet and welcoming….walking us through the best things in the menu and even set up a table for us (the place was crowded). Then the FOOD !!! We got chicken dinner, fried flounder , slaw, greens, fried okra , potato salad and fries. The seasoning on everything was out of this world and cooked to perfection . Felt like we were at the family cookout and I can’t wait to come back !

Hustle & Grow5.31.25 - while visiting the area I googled "fried fish"; fortunately we found this hidden gem. I was craving fried bone-in fish and ordered 2 croaker sandwiches and 1 flounder sandwich. Everything was tasteful, made to order, and fried to perfection! Other notables for you: black-owned, inside a historical building, offers sit in, there is a buffet, and a liquor bar. I hope they are aiming for better signage out front because had it not been for Google maps I would not have found them (see my pic of the only outside signage).
