Alessandra RodriguezI have been to quite a few boxing gyms over the last ten years, and most boxing gyms either lack legitimacy (are more "boxing fitness") or if they are legit gyms, are not the best environments for children. I can confidently say that Rodriguez Boxing Academy has achieved what most cannot - it is a family-friendly, LEGITIMATE boxing facility where all ages will learn proper technique and are given a safe environment to learn and grow. Their amateur and pro fight teams are impressive and clearly demonstrate strong coaching. This is a serious gym where nonsense is not tolerated, but respect, self-discipline, and comradery are non-negotiable. Their children's program is SPECTACULAR and I thoroughly enjoy the classes I take, as well. Coach Perry and Theresa are wonderful people and this is reflected in how they run their gym. Highly recommend for any age, any level.

Michael TarranceI brought my 8 year old son here 3 years ago. When we first got there, he was a quiet kid, never played any organized sports. We tried everything, baseball, football, basketball, but nothing stuck. First day in this gym he told me he wanted to come back. So we came back the same week. Since that first week, he hasn’t missed many classes at all. Coach Perry has a way with talking and connecting with the kids. In a way that even their fathers can’t get to. He pulls it out of them. We started 3 years ago as a quiet kid that didn’t say much, but he’s flourished into an amazing 11 year old young man, with multiple championships. My son fell in love with Coach Perry and also fell in love with the sport of boxing. I can’t thank Coach Perry, Coach Teresa, Coach Nate, nor Coach Drew enough for the time they put in with my son. God bless you all, and hopefully we’ll see you at the gym.
