Early this year, I took two lessons within a couple weeks. I was sitting at about a 13hcp and wanting to get to single digits. I’ve played my entire life and never used a driver - so that was my goal. The facility is top notch. And Bob is above and beyond. I enjoyed the science behind the numbers and he taught you what the numbers actually meant and how they related to your swing. He didn’t try to reinvent the wheel - this is your swing, let’s make it better. Everything he taught me was repeatable on the course, on the range, standing in line at the grocery store. Since then, I’ve dropped to a 10hcp in a little over 3 months. I’ve been hitting driver with more consistency, no more power slice. My iron play has been solid. Next lesson plan is for wedges to dial in 150 to the green. Can’t say enough about the experience. I recommend Bob to everyone (except the people I play with - I want to keep my advantage)!

10/10! I love everything about being a member here. The facility is amazing for hanging with friends and family or for real training to get the bag dialed in. In house pro Bob is great and his lessons brought my handicap down greatly. Top tier equipment. Place is spacious, comfortable and always clean. Worth having a membership is every way.

Best golf club fitting experience in the Charleston area. Bob went above and beyond expectations to make the club fitting experience a great one, especially since I am new to the game of golf. From swing instruction, to explaining swing data, and explaining the philosophy of gapping a bag, Bob’s breakdown of golf and his ability to apply it to my personal circumstance as a newbie was top notch. His level of customer service is something you rarely see nowadays and I’m very grateful for Bob’s time and expertise. If you’re looking to improve your game, you’ll be hard pressed to find someone better than Bob.

I've gone to Golfhouse for club regrips/repairs and lessons over the last few years. Bob has always been very professional and personable every appointment, and deeply cares about the success of his members/students on the course. He'll analyze your swing data from the launch monitor with you and show you video playback of your swing so you'll understand what is happening, why, and what swing tweaks can fix it. He's worked with me to improve my consistency with my irons/driver and rejuvenated my otherwise terrible chipping game, writing down key takeaways to hone in on during driving range sessions between lessons. When my driver suddenly cracked, I reached out to Bob and he quickly wrote me back with replacement suggestions based on my swing. If anyone is looking for golf instruction, I would highly recommend Bob at Golfhouse for his detailed but fun approach to teaching. Looking forward to getting fitted, Bob!
