MJ DiWe visited Texas Roadhouse in North Charleston during a peak rush, and the atmosphere was intense. The restaurant was extremely busy, very loud, and noticeably hot inside. Despite the chaotic environment, our server was excellent—attentive, friendly, and handling the crowd like a pro. The food was a bit of a mixed bag: The Hits: The grilled shrimp was fantastic, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The pork chop was also great, and the sides were top-notch. The Misses: Unfortunately, the main reason for our visit—the steaks and ribeyes—fell flat. They were served dry and tough. With how slammed the kitchen was, it felt like the grill team was rushing, leading to a lack of time and care for the steaks. Great staff and delicious non-steak options, but hopefully the kitchen can maintain quality control on the grill during high-volume rushes.

C.L. Gamble Sr.Even though We arrived to a packed restaurant, We were seated and had a server about 10 minutes after We walked through the door. Drinks were great , and the Prime Rib was available and came out perfectly medium. This was an amazing experience to say the least.

John K.We were a large party. My wife's steak had to be returned, it was overcooked. They ran out of a side dish and instead of coming out and asking what they wanted as a replacement, they just brougham out a different side. I think servers should go back to writing orders down instead of trying to remember what everyone ordered.
