Shauneil BoyerOscar’s was unfortunately a disappointing experience for me.The restaurant itself is nice, and the staff was kind, but the food and drinks did not quite deliver. The cocktails were unbalanced and missed the flavor profile described on the menu. The appetizers were also on the smaller side and a bit bland. For my entree, I ordered the braised short ribs with mashed potatoes, and the dish was plain and dry. The mac and cheese was decent, but not enough to make up for the rest of the meal. The stuffed flounder was also overcooked. Overall, I can see why people may enjoy the atmosphere and service, but based on my experience, the food and drinks did not live up to the 4.5-star rating. For the price point, I left pretty underwhelmed.
