Hello, I would like to share a very disappointing experience I had at your Marvin’s store. Before visiting, I called the store multiple times and specifically asked if you fill propane tanks. Each time I was clearly told “Yes, we do.” Based on that confirmation, I drove 45 minutes with my food trailer, carrying two 100-lb propane tanks. After arriving, I waited about 15 minutes for my turn. Only then was I told that you do not have the proper knob/fitting to fill my propane tanks. One employee mentioned that the person who usually fills propane had been working there for six months, which makes this situation even more concerning. When I asked if the required knob could be ordered, I was told that it had been ordered, but I was never contacted, and nothing was resolved. To make matters worse, another employee told me, “I don’t know, you should go to Tractor Supply.” If that is the case, then customers should be clearly informed instead of being told over the phone that propane filling is available. This situation caused: • Wasted time (over 1 hour total) • Unnecessary driving with a food trailer • Loss of trust and loss of my business as a customer If Marvin’s cannot properly support propane filling for standard commercial tanks, this should be communicated clearly to customers so others do not face the same issue. I am very disappointed and hope management will take this seriously to improve communication and service going forward.
