One of our favorites! Food is consistently terrific. From the apps to the entrees to the desserts .. eveything we (my husband and I) have had has all been carefully curated. Ingredients are fresh and of very good quality (salads, meat, seafood, ...) and meals (including sides that can traditionally be mundane) are always so flavorful!! The atmosphere is great too! Very classic ivy-league-esque!! Typically very good service as well.

What a wonderful place! My husband and I stopped at Clark’s for dinner on our way to Florida from North Carolina. The building was so pretty, and that was our only clue to the wonderful dining experience in the restaurant. The bartender made the absolute best old fashioned and was so friendly. Our server, Zoe, was so helpful, kind, and friendly. The food was scrumptious! The gift store was like a wonderland. Our experience was so pleasant, we decided to stay the night in the hotel, which provided generous space, a comfortable and large king sized bed, nice amenities, and a great bathroom. Additionally, the breakfast that is included with the room was not like any we’ve had in the United States. Barbara welcomed us to the dining room and the three ladies, I remember Erica’s name, were efficient and friendly. We ordered from a menu and were served a hot, delicious, cooked for me country breakfast complete with fried potatoes, grits, and a buttermilk biscuit! We will be sure to make a Clark’s a stop on our way both north and south. An unforgettable stay!

Wonderful! The fried chicken plate with mashed potatoes and green beans was delicious. The chicken was perfect! Crispy outside and juicy inside. They give you a breast, wing thigh and leg and its a lot! Mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious. The green beans were fine, although a little salty. It seemed more upscale than I was expecting. I went after a 3 hour hike in the national park so was looking a bit scruffy. Everybody was friendly and welcoming and service was wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

We love this place! It is a lovely setting with beautiful wood beams and a great fireplace with lots of elegant touches. Food is delicious and service is warm and friendly. Great place to treat yourself for something special.

Love stopping by here to eat. The food is always good, and the atmosphere pleasant. The waiters and waitresses are top notch for taking care of you. Worth the stop every time.
