Jul 9, 2026 · Google ReviewGreat variety of types of food to eat. We both enjoyed our choices. Wanted local type food so I chose shrimp & grits which apparently can be served various ways. Shrimp were wrapped in bacon and cooked with a crisp exterior, but not over cooked. The blue cheese house salad with pecans was very delicious. Worried that place might be “dressy” as formal from outside but we were casual off the road and did not feel out of place. Staff were very attentive and seemed to welcome all.
Jun 21, 2026 · Google ReviewBurgess rolled out the red carpet for us after a grueling 10 hour drive on 95! What can I say? We were grateful for her hospitality and kindness. Not only did she bring us food and drink, I enjoyed sharing our DAR experience with her. It is always nice to hear from people who know how important this 250 years of American culture is! I loved the sign we were seated under. Americana decor, in addition to shore and golfing memorabilia feeds my soul!! I will post pictures! Food was great. I had the seafood platter. My husband had the Swai. He loved the sweet potato with butter. Truly a blessing to have a lovely meal in a relaxed environment after a busy day driving!!
Jun 21, 2026 · Google ReviewAn outstanding dinner!! The crab stuffed sea bass, corn on the cob (sweet and tender), the salmon bites, house salad and blackened platter with mahi-mahi so very delicious. Our waitress (Gypsy) was so attentive and spot on with the recommendations. No room for dessert (peach cobbler)so we brought it home! The owner, makes his rounds to ensure all enjoyed and made you feel like a local! Thank you so much, we will be back!!Lary& Sharon
Jun 14, 2026 · Google ReviewWe ordered the prime rib and surf & turf special with shrimp & scallops broiled . The prime rib had a very good taste. The.New York strip was cooked ok but tasted a little bland to me, there were 2 small scallops and 5 shrimp skewered. Did bot real8ze the surf & turk was $49 until we got.the bill. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive
