mary kingWe have stayed here twice now. Both stays have been great. The staff are all friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The bedding is soft and cozy. And it's quiet. The restaurant is southern elegant and civilized. Again, the staff are so professional. My shrimp and grits was verrry tasty and plentiful, my husband's steak was flavorful and prepared just right. The mashed potatoes had a demi glaze for gravy, it was so flavorful! The fried green tomatoes were great as was the shrimp and corn chowder. A full breakfast is included in the room charge. We both had coffee, fresh oj and pancakes with crisp bacon. The food is fresh and tasty and the coffee is rich and flavorful. Our stays have been pleasant and comfortable. Definitely has more character than other similarly priced, self serve breakfast type hotels along I95. I would recommend this establishment if your doing the Florida to North run. It's about half way to PA or NJ. Clientele seems to be older folks doing the run or golf groups playing the Santee courses.

Sabrina FroehlichI absolutely love this place! They are so nice. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable. It has a bit of a historic feel. The food is delicious! It is surrounded by so many other businesses like restaurants and gas stations so close they can be seen from the parking lot. It is right off the Interstate. Highly recommend this establishment if you need to stay overnight during a trip, or even if you just want a nice vacation spot.

Michele DHad a wonderful delicious dinner. Melvin our server so so nice and helpful. He made our dinner especially enjoyable with his impeccable service. We highly recommend this restaurant especially with melvin as our waiter. We are coming back july. We loved it.

Leslie WootenWhat a delightful place! Cosy, immaculately clean room. And the included BREAKFAST! This is real cooking. No crummy eggs from a milk carton. Incredible, freshly-prepared food in a lovely, welcoming restaurant. And the dinner last night at Clark's Restaurant was some of the best food I have eaten ANYWHERE in the world. No exageration. Blackened salmon over creamed spinach on orzo. Beautifully presented, and perfectly prepared. Clark's Inn and Restaurant do all of it right.

Casey DominionaireI visited this place in South Carolina this past weekend and it was a nice place to eat dinner after a funeral. I loved the ambiance of the place, I love the furniture, and the theme of the restaurant; it was very relaxing. I ordered beef liver with mashed potatoes and it was okay. The collard greens were a bit bitter, but I ate them anyway and the pecan pie was delicious. The crab cakes are also really good. The hospitality was great and I can say it is a place that I would visit again.
