Maureen Dooley⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Phenomenal Stay – Exceptional Staff and Property!I would give this property more than five stars if I could! From the exact second we checked in, Dominique welcomed us with a smile and made us feel right at home. He kindly explained that the on-site bar and restaurant were open until 10 PM. This was a wonderful, pleasant surprise we hadn't expected!Check-in was incredibly fast. Walking into our room, we were met with crisp, cool air conditioning and a spotless, highly accommodating space. The shower pressure was absolutely great.After refreshing, we went down to the restaurant for dinner. Our server, Tabra, was friendly, conversational, and just a lovely person all around. She mentioned their new wine selection, and since we ordered a bottle to share, she gifted us two souvenir wine glasses—such a thoughtful and unexpected touch! The food was amazing (compliments to the chef!), and the entire atmosphere was exceptionally clean.Every single staff member we encountered was happy, smiling, and genuinely friendly. We will absolutely be back whenever we pass through Santee again. Thank you to the wonderful staff and property for a perfect stay!— Maureen Dooley

Norma BradfordI arrived on the evening of May 21st late in the evening and before walking into the lobby I was checking the reviews. I found the reviews to say that the place needed updating but that the rooms were clean. I went ahead and went in, when I walked into the lobby I was pleasantly surprised, the lobby was very clean and had numerous amenities for sale near the front desk. There was a seating area with a fireplace and off to the right there was a restaurant to purchase breakfast in the morning. The office staff was very friendly and accommodating. On the counter they have a glass jar with dog bones in it. I recently lost my service dog of 16 years and I found that jar made me smile. When I got up to my room I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the door, the room was very clean and very inviting, the entire hotel has now been renovated. On the bed where four pillows of different types, the bed was very comfortable and as I was in a corner room I had a wrap around window that overlooked the grassy area behind the hotel. The water pressure and the hot water both were great. I will definitely stay again at this location the next time I am passing through

Ian HaimMy coworker and finished a job early down in Florida, and we’re able to get on the road back north before schedule. . Although we didn’t have our rooms booked at the Holiday Inn in Santee six hours before check-in, we were able to get them and get them at great rates. When we arrived at the hotel, it was clean well lit outside and spotless in the lobby. When we got to the front desk, one room was checked in perfectly, but there was an issue with the second room. The front desk attendant, Sandra, not only had an amazing attitude, but also got the room situation figured out quickly. Upon entering my room, it was clean organized and had all the amenities. This was a great night’s stay, I recommend staying at this hotel if you’re in Santee.

Alexandra MisslerMade a quick over night stay here and Ashley at the front desk was exactly what I needed at the start of my long trip. She was so kind and friendly, and made us feel right at home. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Everyone else we came across was friendly as well. Glad we chose this hotel!

Michele ByrneLocated right off of 95, we walked into this hotel to be greeted with a beautiful lobby and very welcoming desk staff. As my husband is in a wheelchair, I requested an accessible room. We were booked into an accessible room on the third floor. Unfortunately it was hearing accessible and not meant for someone in a wheelchair. Tabra at the front desk went out of her way to rebook us in a room that could accommodate a wheelchairs need for space. She did it with such grace and empathy and it was really appreciated after a full day of driving. Note: this is a cashless property. Breakfast was included with my room rate so there was no way to tip my server.
