I have not had a dining experience this bad in years. We are new to the area and this place has really good reviews so we thought we would try it. We showed up on a Thursday around 6pm, a party of 7, there was a normal dinner crowd but we were seated almost immediately so it wasn't too crowded. We watched as other tables seated about the same got there drink orders taken and our server was no where to be found. After these other tables had their drinks, our server came by to take our drink order. Other tables were getting food orders taken while we still did not have our drinks. Eventually our drinks showed up and we had our food order taken. This is where we would stay for a while. After being seated for an hour with no food and watching as the tables that were seated at the same time were wrapping up their meals half of our food orders showed up already cold. I asked for the manager and he gave me some canned answer about the order got split when it was being put in. Nothing about the inappropriate wait, nothing about the cold food, nothing about the fact that our server is nowhere to be found. He said he would "get us" and discount our meal (that was a lie). Eventually all of our food showed up. While we were wrapping up we noticed that the recently seated table behind us was already receiving their food. Whatever the problem was seemed limited to our experience. Did our order get given to the wrong table and need to be remade? Did it not get put in initially? Was it half entered and waited on the second half to bring the food? (Would explain why the food was cold) These would all be understandable if they were communicated in a timely manner, they were not, the staff acted like everything was OK it this blwas business as usual. Again, this was by far the worst dining experience in years.
