Kalei WintonMy family and our two dogs stayed here for around 3 months while awaiting housing on base. Greg and his staff were always so friendly and helped us out last minute when our apartment we had lined up fell through. Even though it’s not “kid friendly” my son enjoyed running around the grass area all the time and the staff were always so friendly with him. They even were able to get my parents a room when visiting us so they could be close by. Area is nice , your in a busy part of Sumter but it’s secluded near neighborhoods and churches so you get the best of both worlds and don’t hear to much street noise at night. Would definitely recommend any military who are struggling to find a short term option to give this place a try.

Amy ParksWe stayed here for a few months while my husband began training at Shaw AFB, and we are already planning our next stay when we come back. The best part of this hotel is the manager, Mr. Greg. He cares deeply about taking care of guests and the hotel spaces, and it shows! He takes care of guest needs pretty much before they even arise, and the spaces are always so clean and tidy from Greg's hard work outside and the housekeeping ladies' efforts inside. It feels like family taking care of you. Every time we see Greg in the parking lot he always asks how we are doing and genuinely cares to do whatever he can to help out. Greg even stocks the rooms with pots, pans, silverware, cutting board, cops, plates and an ironing board and iron! The room is the perfect size for my husband and I with a separated bedroom and living room/kitchen space. It's roomy enough that we don't feel squished together all the time. The kitchen area has a full sized stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and a good sized sink. We cook most of our meals at home, and staying here we didn't miss a beat in our cooking routine, whereas in other hotels we would not have been able to do any of it. The weekly housekeeping services are wonderful, and they really go above and beyond in helping keep the space clean. The area is quiet, there are several restaurants and a great grocery store less than 5 minutes away on Alice Drive, and it is only a 10 minute drive to Shaw AFB. This place is also just a few minutes from Palmetto Park, which is a great place to go walking and play tennis. It has been a great experience staying here and we are excited to be back here next time we are in Sumter!

NL VWe’ve just spend a year here at this extended stay and this place is awesome (initially planned on staying a few months but ended up needing to stay longer). Mr. Greg is an amazing manager. He’s friendly, helpful and made sure he took care of everything we needed. If there was a maintenance issue, he was on it. His housekeeping staff was wonderful. As far as the property goes, the room was clean and a nice size for a one bedroom with a living room and full kitchen. There was a pullout couch in the living room for extra sleep space and a full size fridge and freezer in the kitchen with cups and utensils. It’s not far from base, across the street from the mall and just a little drive to Columbia and Florence If I had to come back to Sumter to work or visit and needed temporary lodging, I’d definitely come back here.

Sandra RobinsonMy stay was a very good one. Greg handled some hiccups with my booking and was able to iron everything out so very well. The housekeeping person was helpful to me as well when I asked for coffee filters that I couldn't find in my room. I hope Greg gave me ideas of where to eat also.
