Carol SheridanWe drive to Orangeburg 70 miles from Camden to eat at the Chestnut Grille, and it's always so worth it!!! We had steaks, and they were melt-in-your mouth delicious. This is our favorite restaurant in the midlands. It's one of the few upscale restaurants we've found. The service is at great as the food!! Every time we come, we're never disappointed. If you're in Orangeburg, check out the Edisto Memorial Gardens while you're there. There's a rose garden, pond with ducks, geese,and other waterfowl and lots of turtles. There is Spanish moss hanging from the trees and a boardwalk to the river where you'll find an ancient, working water wheel!!
