The food here was a bit of a mixed bag, though the service was very sweet and attentive—our server came over to check on us frequently throughout the night. On the positive side, the hibachi dinner was very generous with the shrimp, and both the shrimp and scallops were cooked well and stayed soft. The Philly roll also had plenty of salmon, cream cheese, and avocado inside. However, the execution missed the mark. The sushi roll was wrapped very poorly; it barely overlapped and completely fell apart when trying to eat it. The hibachi rice was quite dry, and the sauces—including the white sauce—were overwhelmingly sweet. If you prefer savory hibachi with garlic and soy, the flavors here might be too sugary. Additionally, the vegetable side was almost entirely onions, with only a single piece of broccoli and a few slices of zucchini. Great service and generous protein portions, but the sushi rolling technique and the overall flavor balance definitely need some work.
