Anthony MartelliniDiverse menu, but be careful what you order. I had the chicken fried steak meal, extremely spicy, simply couldn't eat it. GF had the trout and said it was pretty good. So a mixed bag. I thought chicken fried steak would be safe...my bad

d will made itI finally got a chance to try Poogan’s Southern Kitchen in Summerville, and this place did NOT disappoint! I had Poogan’s world-famous fried chicken, my wife had the meatloaf, and our two guests had the chicken and waffles and the chicken-fried steak. We also started with the crab hush puppies, Bow-Wow Shrimp, and the hot honey chicken deviled eggs. Honestly, everything was absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried had that good Southern comfort-food flavor, and there wasn’t a single thing on the table that I wouldn’t order again. The hot honey chicken deviled eggs and Bow-Wow Shrimp were especially good, and the fried chicken definitely lived up to the hype. Five stars all day! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re in the Summerville/Charleston area
