TheGamersCoop Youtube ChannelTook a trip to the Temple Sinai Jewish History Center here in Sumter, South Carolina and was surprised as to how applicable it is to the population of Sumter. I’m amazed at the amount of history I drive past everyday! The kind lady who guided me through the exhibits was so informative and kind, definitely made my visit an insightful one! Fred Dollar (RevDollar)Temple Sinai is a beautiful Jewish Temple that gives great information pertaining to Judaism while at the same time telling the history of the Jewish Community in the city of Sumter, SC. Though my wife and I are Baptist, the tour guides were very welcoming of us. After we completed a mostly self-guided tour of the museum one of the tour guides took us to the sanctuary and showed us the scrolls containing the Torah and explained to us the meaning of each of the stained-glass windows. This was a great experience and it was very informative.

Michele Boyer (Michele)We had only planned to go to the History Museum but then had it highly recommended to us to go to the Temple Sinai as well. We are so glad we did! Leeham (I believe was the young mans name) greeted us and offered to give us a tour. He was phenomenal with my special needs son. We visit many museums and places of interest and Temple Sinai is on the top of the list. It was appreciated by myself (adult) as well as my 11-year-old son due to the range of displays.
