JenelleMy husband and I were visiting family in the Summerville area and they recommended this place to celebrate our anniversary. Thankfully my family knew to make reservations. Immediately could tell this place was different than most (in a good way). Ignore the looks on the outside because once you enter, you'll be delighted. The food, service, and overall dining experience we'll remember for years to come. Jun sang to us for our anniversary and prayed for many continued blessings to come our way. Was truly a beautiful memory we'll cherish. The old adage, "enter as strangers and leave like family" is truly a thing here.

Christy ScottOur experience was wonderful! We were greeted immediately and made to feel at home. We tried edamame and crispy pork as appetizers. Both were incredible. Pork belly and asparagus yakitori were delicious. The owner (I’m assuming) came to the table a few times to check on us and offer sauce suggestions. Pork cutlet entree and udon were both very good. I recommend the chicken meatball yakitori and sun dried tomato garlic butter rice as well. We left very full and happy with lots of leftovers.

JayJay BuggsBeautiful place and Beautiful people. The owner is so involved with her customers and this is amazing to see. The servers were professional and courteous. We tried a new sangria that they were advertising and it was so good. I shared a glass with the hubby. The pork belly skewer was so good. They should consider putting in as an entree. Our food overall was good but the customer service is top tier. We will be back.

Nina CashWe definitely way too long to come back after 2 years but so glad we finally made it again. Shortly after being sat, the owner came in and personally thanked each of us for coming in and gave a great speech about how we’ve contributed to their success which I thought was super cool. We found out they bought out a new building and are planning on expanding soon which is so exciting! In case you didn’t know she has a beautiful voice and we were able to hear it that night. We got the delicious garlic and tomato rice accompanied by delicious skewers of meat and my all time favorite is the crispy pork belly app. It was the perfect amount of food and good service. The place itself is cozy and heartfelt, they make you feel like family. Can’t wait for the new location!

ChristinaMy husband and I came to SC for a week to visit and were absolutely blown away by the service and food here. It was so good we ate here twice! The second time we got to meet the owner who was incredibly sweet and shared about her time in the first all-female band in Japan. She sang a bit for us which was beautiful and even gave us a free honey toast dessert as a thank you for coming back! She really touched us and treated us like family. It’s the best experience we’ve had by far in meeting the owner of a restaurant. We hope to be back again sooner rather than later!!
