Shari KoberMy experiences with travel agents have been very different from this experience. I was very disappointed with the fact our travel group didn’t meet collectively, so during the entire trip I wasn’t aware who booked the trip through this agent. My mother and I did formulate a relationship with 3 other travelers who I met through a video chat we had just before our trip to Paris, which was supposed to inform us about somethings we were to expect during our travels. Although the trip with AmaWaterways was a very good experience, I was disappointed with the lack of interaction my mother and the other 3 travelers had with the travel agent. I would like to suggest for future reference that , the travel agent should do an initial meeting with their group , have a special event just for the group (Dinner outside a special dinner on ships.) and a end of trip gathering,,this way the agent would get an idea of the travelers experience.
