Joy DayI went to Melrose on a Saturday and picked up some sod so I could cover half of a garden bed that my builder installed. Such an easy process and the people working were very helpful. I thought it might be an easy project, but after all the tilling and attempting to level, it definitely wasn’t a job for me. I went back to Melrose Monday and asked if somebody could come out and lay the sod out for me with some additional sod (realized I didn’t get enough) and they were able to accommodate me same day. It took so much stress off me because I didn’t want the sod I originally purchased to go bad. David came out, was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He instructed me on how to nourish the new sod and gave me some tips for my landscaping. Awesome awesome!

Brenna DRichard and his team were able to get me centipede sod twice this week with very short notice. Everyone was super friendly, pricing is competitive, and the sod is great quality—fresh off the truck from the farm. I’ll definitely be back next time I need sod, dirt, and mulch 🙂

Larissa LathamWe ordered from Melrose Landscape and Supplies last year when we were starting a garden of our own and we had the best fall and winter harvest and we're convinced it was because of the amazing topsoil we got from Richard and his small mom and pop landscape company. We gave Richard a call again this year because we needed more topsoil to expand our garden and he was communicative, kind, and even remembered us from a year ago! That being said, they are upgrading a couple of their systems right now, one being their phones- we did call several times and got a message to leave a message but no option to actually leave a message. We kept calling and eventually got ahold of Richard. I mentioned what happened and he apologized for the trouble and said that they were upgrading their phone system right now. However, we got our 5 yards of soil delivered yesterday, by Richard himself and he was so kind and the soil is beautiful- moist, fluffy- even better than we remembered. It was worth the several call we made. Not to mention, it's just nice to support local businesses and they make it an easy choice with their more than affordable prices. Don't buy landscape supplies anywhere but here and ignore any negative reviews bitter people have left- some people just wanna watch the word burn. Thanks Richard- we'll see you again next year.
