Julie Prescott2nd review. Fast forward to President's Day weekend 2026. We needed a new dining room table. This was the first place I headed. Found a great table- solid wood- not veneer. 6 chairs. Built in leaf underneath! Major plus. I did check out the other furniture stores in Sumter to be able to tell my husband I did look. But honestly, nobody had the selection that Hines has. Better than any other store here any day!! Same helpful staff, not pushy, and very knowledgeable about their inventory etc. Was able to set up delivery on Monday - the holiday. Was shocked. Delivery men are always polite and show up during your delivery time window and take care with your items as well as your home- walls, floors, doorways etc. Original review: In 2023/2024, we needed some furniture after moving here. They had a great selection of bookcases and entry tables.. Prices were reasonable and delivery fee was also reasonable. They were willing to accommodate our requested day for delivery since I was on a limited amount of time in town. They showed up during the delivery window I was told and were friendly, professional and careful in handling. Will shop there again in the future. Store was easy to shop in and they were helpful without being intrusive or pushy.
