Blue GirlCame to Sumter for a get together with our family and we did our Filipino traditional boodle fight. We ordered few items from them and OMG, it’s the best I had ever had with their BBQ sticks and cassava cake. Honestly, they have the most delicious and most tender Pork BBQ and Cassava cake which we ordered from them. I live in Northern VA but these folks killed it with the stuff that we ordered. If you ever even pass Sumter, take the time to stop here. It’s well worth it. My cousin is now required to bring me those when she comes to see me in Northern VA:)

David ScammellDon't let the little storefront fool you, this is a pretty good-sized Asian/Oriental store with plenty to choose from, whether you want fresh produce and fruits, packaged goods, drinks and/or frozen items (e.g., ice cream, frozen fish). The staff and owners are very helpful and friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend this as your "go to" place for oriental goods.

Janelle QuinnPHO-tastic! I visited Susan's Oriental Store yesterday, "after" driving around town looking for key ingredients for my favorite meal: Beef Pho Soup! I was able to get just about everything between Walmart and IGA, but neither had all of the ingredients I needed to develop that delicious aroma and the rice noodles were a must! I looked on Amazon and "almost" purchased the Pho seasoning mix online, but decided to wait just one more day to see if Susan's Oriental Store would have it. When I arrived at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, I was sorely disappointed that they were still closed (an older Google Review photo showed an opening and closing time that was no longer valid). I came back shortly before 1:00 p.m. and was pleasantly surprised by a gracious cashier (whom I assume was Susan). She proudly showed me to the "Pho shelf", and she explained the ingredients for this meal were so popular that she decided to add all of them in one convenient location for her customers. What a big help! Not only did she have "EVERYTHING" that I still needed, the spice seasoning pack was only $1.99 and I almost paid $15.00 on Amazon! My soup turned out AMAZING! I owe it all to "Mrs. Nguyen's - Pho Bo - Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup" Youtube tutorial and Susan's Oriental for having the key ingredients!!! Move on over Yummy Thai!

B AWe love the large selection of goods at this store. They are very friendly and helpful. They also have a food truck and they serve very good food. Check them out at the Sumter Farmer's Market (next to USC college and Alice Dr. Schools) on Fridays. They also serve/sell their lunch/dinner plates in front of Hines Furniture store along with different places on different dates. Just follow them via Facebook for dates, places and times through out the week.
