I ordered 3 extra pieces to ensure I had enough to complete the job due to any potential damage or quality issues that you normally have dealing with wood. As expected a board was warped and a couple split from shipping. Customer service quickly responded and shipped out a replacement and credited me for returns within a week or so. The job went as planned and completed perfect. First time I ever did this kind of work. I am pleased and recommend buying this product from Stair Treads. Awesome support staff second to none. Check out the before and after progression photos. It took me 3 long weekends about 60 hours to custom make this beautiful stairs.

John WillPurchased pre-finished retrofit stair treads from StairTreads.com. The quality and finish of the stair treads was excellent. Customer service after the sale was exceptional. I had several questions that their employee, Annabelle, answered immediately. We removed carpet and installed the retrofit stair treads. The finished project is beautiful. I would recommend this company and product for anyone wanting to upgrade their stairs. This is not an easy project, but manageable if you have the correct tools and basic carpentry skills.
