Dee SMom & Pop restaurant in downtown Moncks Corner. We got blueberry waffle and blueberry french toast with scrambled eggs w/ cheese, home fries w/ onions and my husband got the country fried steak w/ brown gravy. Love the homemade food! Can tell the difference between that and prepackaged food from other places. Service was great; everybody was super nice and welcoming. We went on Valentine's Day and they had a cute little kissing booth where we took a picture. I'd love to eat here again.

Mari VNow I’ll tell yall what - this is some damn good breakfast ! Best I’ve had since I can remember, no wait and the food is piping and tastes delicious! If you’re a breakfast person like me this is a must try - 100% recommend. Forewarning the owner is a country Ina Garten (barefoot contessa) - She will joke with you and make you talk but it makes the wait for the food go by quick. Everything was delicious, classic dinner eats. I will have to come for lunch or dinner! My next item to try is the fried pork chops or chicken.

Mr. BThis is a wonderful local establishment—truly a mom-and-pop gem that makes you feel like part of the family the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of personality. If it’s your first time visiting, be prepared for a fun surprise: you might have to do a little dance before getting your food! It’s a hilarious and charming icebreaker that instantly makes you feel like you’re becoming part of Howard’s family. The service was fantastic—special shout-out to Ms. Wanda for making the experience even better with her kindness and energy. The food itself was comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with love. Every dish tasted like home. I’ll definitely be heading back, and if you haven’t visited yet, you absolutely should. It’s a place that feeds both your stomach and your spirit.

Cane Bay RoofingHoward’s Restaurant has become one of our favorite local places. We’ve been coming here since we first started looking at moving to the area in early 2025, and we’ve always had a great experience. The food is consistently good, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff genuinely makes you feel appreciated. A special thank you to Wanda, who has always taken great care of us. She is friendly, attentive, and goes out of her way to make sure everything is right. Great service like hers is a big reason we keep coming back. TanishaMy husband and I went to a new restaurant today on Main Street in Moncks Corner. We pass by Howard’s all the time but never went in because we heard it was strange lol. Well we definitely had an interesting time! There are NO MENUS in this restaurant. You just have to write down what you want on a ticket sheet and they make what they have 😅. We were greeted by a very nice lady who told us a joke and had a fun conversation with us. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Since there was no menu we had no idea how much money the food would be 😂. But everything in the photo was $40! The place is small and about 100 years old and the vibe is super country. But if you want something quirky and good in the Lowcountry give it a try!
