Great and comfortable experience! I checked in very late at night and was warmly welcomed by Katrina Dale. She was incredibly kind, and truly went above and beyond with her customer service. After a long day of travel, her positive attitude made a huge difference and set the tone for a great stay. The room itself was very comfortable and had everything needed for a great stay. The bed and pillows were especially cozy, the TV was large and perfect for relaxing, and the bathroom was modern and very clean. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would strongly recommend this location to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming hotel experience!
Mar 13, 2026 · Google ReviewI recently stayed at Hampton Inn Charleston - Daniel Island, and overall, it was a decent stay with a few bumps along the way. The room itself was a highlight—spacious, clean, and comfortable, which always makes a difference after a long day. Breakfast was about what you’d expect for this type of hotel: solid, convenient, and a good way to start the morning without having to go elsewhere. That said, there were a couple of challenges during our stay. The parking lot was being paved, which made things a bit inconvenient coming and going. Also, there were several sports teams staying at the hotel, and unfortunately, there was quite a bit of noise in the hallways late at night—well past the posted quiet hours. Even with those issues, the overall experience was still positive. With a few tweaks—especially around enforcing quiet hours—this could easily be a go-to spot on Daniel Island.
Apr 29, 2026 · Google ReviewOverall, this hotel was extremely mid. For nearly $300 a night, it definitely was not worth the price, and I expected a lot more for what I paid. The hotel itself is getting pretty dated and could really use some renovations and updating. The biggest downside was the check-in experience. The older lady who checked me in, who I was told was the manager on duty, came across as short-tempered and didn’t make me feel very welcomed at all, especially as a Hilton Honors member. The only reason I’m giving this place 3 stars instead of 2 is because of the older lady working checkout on my last day. She was kind, professional, and honestly redeemed the experience a bit. Looking back, I wish I would’ve just spent the extra $30 to stay at the Home2 Suites next door instead
May 20, 2026 · Google ReviewWe were greeted by a wonderful employee, Irene. She made us feel very special. The breakfast was delicious, and the employees in charge worked very hard to make sure there was plenty of food and everything was clean.
Apr 3, 2026 · Google ReviewDrove in from Columbia, SC for birthday long weekend! Not that busy! Away from the Charleston congestion. Plan to go to Sullivan’s Island beach. Later shop the market in Charleston.
