Kimberly TolerFirst-time visitor but not a last time visitor. The restaurant is awesome and the people are so kind and inviting. It was busy and a little bit of a wait but I think that's a good sign at a restaurant. Inside was really nice and clean but we sat outside to watch the boats on the water and it was a perfect atmosphere. They bring complimentary hush puppies that are excellent. I got the fresh catfish and shrimp with fries and slaw. My husband got the founder and shrimp, and our son got the fried shrimp basket as well. The food was excellent!!! Great people and great service, and I can't wait to go back. By the way, get the cheese sticks, too.

VentraThe location is really the takeaway here, it’s right on the water. The food was great, we went on a Friday evening seated very quickly. Our server Jenn was awesome, kept our drinks refilled and advised on the mozzarella sticks. Overall it’s a great little spot in the Moncks, it’s tucked away.

K. T.We ate several items from the menu. Our favorites were the hush puppies and fried shrimp. The hush puppies had a crunchy exterior and a sweet interior. The shrimp were flavorful, tender and light with a beautiful golden batter. We also had the grouper bites and the crabby patty (crab cake + beef patty). The crab cake is a star all by itself. The grouper bites needed some salt but were fried perfectly. Would definitely eat here again. Great customer service and nice location on the Tailrace canal.
