Striper

With so much bait grouped up on lower end of moultrie the stripers have been in the main channel in 40-50 ft.

Fish Carolina rigs with live herring and shad. We are hearing Some Reports of fish being caught trolling stretch 25 and Alabama rigs.

Some schooling activity. Look for the birds diving on bait. You may not see the fish busting but they will be deeper. Some shallow water schooling has been happening also in the back coves in 5-15 ft. Cast swim baits and bucktails.

Bass

The bite on the cooper river has been good. Early morning and late afternoon top water has been fast and furious. Look for fish busting schools of menhaden. Zara spooks and white flukes working the beat.

Bream

We are catching lots of big bream on 20-35 ft brush piles. Tight line crickets or small pieces of shrimp. The bite on the cooper river and Santee river has also been good. Fish the breaks and deep points on the cooper and standing amd submerged structure on the Santee.

Crappie

With the water being so cold the fish will be on brush piles in 25 plus foot. Fish jigs tipped with minnows vertical over the brush piles and you can also cast small jigs to the brush.

Catfish

Lots of catfish in the 25-35ft creeks. Drift with Santee cooper rigs with cut herring, shad and fresh shrimp.
