My kids(3) and I stayed here for three days and two nights, And let me just start off by saying what an amazing time it was. One of my three kids is severely autistic and I didn’t want to interrupt anybody’s stay so Katrina at the front desk, made our stay 10x more comfortable. She gave me a room a few doors away from others and it was great, along with an amazing room. She and Jakari checked up on us and were just amazing people. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. The Malloy’s
Jul 6, 2026 · Google ReviewDrove in from Columbia, SC for birthday long weekend! Not that busy! Away from the Charleston congestion. Plan to go to Sullivan’s Island beach. Later shop the market in Charleston.

May 30, 2026 · Google ReviewOverall, this hotel was extremely mid. For nearly $300 a night, it definitely was not worth the price, and I expected a lot more for what I paid. The hotel itself is getting pretty dated and could really use some renovations and updating. The biggest downside was the check-in experience. The older lady who checked me in, who I was told was the manager on duty, came across as short-tempered and didn’t make me feel very welcomed at all, especially as a Hilton Honors member. The only reason I’m giving this place 3 stars instead of 2 is because of the older lady working checkout on my last day. She was kind, professional, and honestly redeemed the experience a bit. Looking back, I wish I would’ve just spent the extra $30 to stay at the Home2 Suites next door instead

May 14, 2026 · Google ReviewEverything was good. Nice staff. Good breakfast (for being in the US). Good room upgrade. All the staff I met, were very polite and helpful.
May 4, 2026 · Google ReviewI recently stayed at Hampton Inn Charleston - Daniel Island, and overall, it was a decent stay with a few bumps along the way. The room itself was a highlight—spacious, clean, and comfortable, which always makes a difference after a long day. Breakfast was about what you’d expect for this type of hotel: solid, convenient, and a good way to start the morning without having to go elsewhere. That said, there were a couple of challenges during our stay. The parking lot was being paved, which made things a bit inconvenient coming and going. Also, there were several sports teams staying at the hotel, and unfortunately, there was quite a bit of noise in the hallways late at night—well past the posted quiet hours. Even with those issues, the overall experience was still positive. With a few tweaks—especially around enforcing quiet hours—this could easily be a go-to spot on Daniel Island.
