Erah CanoI have came here a couple times to give it a chance, It is definitely a hit or a miss. It's been more times my drink came out disappointing so I wanted to leave this review. I happened to find one barista who is pretty consistent which had me coming back but I came here today to try a drink posted on their page, however it led to disappointment not only with the look but the taste of espresso was very diluted (like it was not extracted properly) leaving it watery. I have made espresso plenty of times and It wouldn't taste this bad even with oat milk. Feeling pretty bummed and annoyed coffee in general cost between $8-10 now a days. If you're paying around that price, wouldn't you also have expectations? Update: I had reached out to the owner and never received a response about a refund.

Corey KightlingerI finally made it into Bald Monkey Beanery, and it’s easy to see why this place is a local favorite. The atmosphere is fantastic—it has a great energy that makes you want to hang out for a while. Even though it was quite busy during my visit, the staff handled the crowd well. I still received decent service without a massive wait, which says a lot about how well-run the shop is. I originally had my heart set on a cinnamon roll, but they were already sold out. I opted for a cream cheese Danish instead; it was a solid pastry and tasted good, though it didn't quite "wow" me. However, the cinnamon coffee I ordered was absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of the trip. I’ll be back for sure—hopefully early enough to snag one of those cinnamon rolls next time!
