Sam HunteVery historic place. Great place to visit to rake in local shows and performances. In the lobby of the venue are billboards tracing the history of the opera house, the fire that it endured and the town of Sumter too. Must visit this treasure.

Cynthia FaulknerExcellent LIVE performance by a trio group and The Executives, it's Band. Chairman of the Board is a legendary group from the 60s to the late 70s that performed a genre of beach music. Although two of the three original members have since transitioned and could never be replaced, the two newest members that stood on stage tonight did a helluva performance along with the one remaining original member, Ken! My seat was perfect. It was much fun that was had by all! Loved it!

Katie GibsonI love the opera house and am always shocked when people aren’t aware of it. They shows are always great and they do so much to contribute to the art community in Sumter. I can’t imagine downtown without it’s anchoring clock tower and shows.

Mary Ann BaakBeautiful mid-sized opera house. The sound carrots and resonates beautifully. Very clean and well kept, too. Bottom cushions on seats could stand to be bolstered, or patrons could bring a pillow.
