5 stars to the campground 15 stars to the staff!!!!! Ruby and Sandy were absolutely incredible !! My kids adored them so much they invited them to their birthday party and THEY BOTH CAME !!!! How freakin adorable is that!!!! The campground was comforting as a whole. So many things to do with kids we enjoyed the game room mini golf basketball oversized chess and swimming. The hunts brothers pizza is made to order and soooo tasty. The bathhouses were clean and surprisingly easy to get into. One was closed for construction I expected long waits at the shower and never had to wait even once. Quiet hour is 10 pm and we loved that so much!! We’ve had issues in the past camping with kids in the area because it gets rowdy after dark but this campground is family friendly and had our backs.visitor passes were super easy to access for the family who came to celebrate the birthdays as well. There’s tons of campgrounds in the area to choose from but we will continue coming back here thanks to the ladies who made us feel at home and like family. Thank you ruby and Sandy & Thank You KOA-Summerton for another fun safe family camping trip ! See you again very soon
Jun 7, 2026 · Google ReviewOur deluxe cabin was more like a vacation cottage, recently builtwith a screen porch and full kitchen and bathroom with shower. The campground was large and shady with tall trees. There was a nice beach on Lake Marion and a fishing dock. The mini golf course needs renovations, but we had fun playing and had a good laugh when we discovered it only has 17 holes. The camp store is well stocked. We would enjoy coming back to stay a few days.
Mar 23, 2026 · Google ReviewVery clean spacious cabin. Nice little fishing dock and swim beach. Pizza delivery to your site, hunt brothers. Caught several nice blue catfish at night off the fishing pier. Fenced in dog park is very small but adequate for our dogs. Super nice campground staff.
May 2, 2026 · Google ReviewWe rented a cabin and had few complaints. It was modern and clean and everything worked. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal, and the beds & furniture were comfortable. The grounds seem to be kept up, and the beach was beautiful. The staff was friendly. The TV only has a cheap antenna and picked up a couple of spotty channels, but hey, we're camping. The bugs are bad so bring spray!
