Phil HicksFirst time on the trail seemed well marked and easy to get along on. The wooded part is about.0.8 miles long, and then you can go along the lake. I will definitely be back!!!

Jason StamentLived in the area almost all of my life and have never stepped foot on this trail until today. The trail is very very well kept with multiple bridges almost anywhere there possibly standing water. We entered the trail just outside of Bonneau and put in a 4 mile hike. Kids loved it and there was plenty of good spots to stop and drink. People with multiple children will understand. Lol. Overall we loved the trail and cant wait to go back and discover more!

Shah HillA lot of shrubs everywhere needs to be a little bit maintained I guess due to winter foliage.but still nice.i did just drive up to look at the water with the little ones tho as well.

Hope MishlanThis is the third passage of the Palmetto Trail for us. Terrain well kept on this passage. Lots of Alligators visible on the northern half of the trail. Also saw Bald Eagle, Blue Heron and lots of Egrets on southern half of trail.

B PEnjoyed the trail but have a couple recommendations. Avoid using after lengthy periods of rain if you can. The low spots fill up with water and although there are man made wooden walkways, many were rotting away and were unusable. The trail does not have a lot of ups and downs but has a lot of water/swamp obstacles. Not a great trail for young people who may not have the best balance. Our golden retriever loved the water....could not keep him out of it...had a very dirty wet dog by the end of it. Would have had a better time if it was just my wife and myself.
