Kathleen PressOwned and tours provided by Classical American Homes Preservation Trust. Finest example of Greek Revival in N America. Open to the public ever 2nd Saturday October through June all guests are required to purchase tickets in advance $20 per person. probably the best plantation tour that we've ever taken and we've been to most of them. they also own Ayr Mount in Hillsborough North Carolina Edgewater in Red Hook New York and roper house in Charleston South Carolina. People on our tour actually knew the owner and worked with him on Wallstreet. Very cool adventure down some dirt roads, in the middle of sand hills in Sumpter SC.

Linda FisherIt's a shame this is only open once a month as it's a lovely property. A caretaker was kind enough to show us around but the house was not open.
