sonia millwoodLoved this place! The family atmosphere here is just as you would feel if you were home. The people are welcoming and helpful, and the food is awesome at the Dockside Restaurant, where the owner Ms Janie pats out her own hamburger patties and fresh cut French fries. Where you can sit on the porch and feel right at home eating breakfast or just having a fresh cup of hot coffee while you watch the boats coming in or going out from the boat ramp where you never know what they're going to pull out of the river . There's a fishing dock and a beach area close by. I highly recommend you check them out! The restaurant is open from 6am to 6pm and has a wheelchair ramp and clean restrooms with a shower and on-site laundry facility also. I had the privilege of joining one of their family gatherings while visiting and I definitely can't wait to go back! You can't beat it with a stick!😉👍

Robert OrtizThis campground is a permanent space campground. Very family oriented. Mostly senior residents live there. I myself got a spot on the water and my boat is right in front of my camper. There's a snack bar/grill and boat ramp for residents, but others will have to pay a $5 ramp fee. Parking is very limited but it's a great place to launch your boat if you want to fish the north side of Santee Cooper Lakes.
