Karen RichterNot much to do in the immediate area. This location has a pool and offers daily activities for the kids. No onside playground for kids. About a 10 min drive to Santee State Park. Lots of gnats (no see-ums). Close to golf courses. We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit. Very spacious, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and huge living/dining and kitchen space. Pull out sofa in livingroom. Beautiful view of the lake from the unit

edlX5144EIRight on Lake Marion. Boat Rentals and fishing. BBQ gas grills on property. Nice area to walk. Nearby restarunts recommend: Steak and Seafood, The Lake House, and Cracker Barrel. Charleston and Savanna are just less then 2 hr drive. Two Parks we visted and hiked at were Santee Park and Santee Wildlife Park

Linda FisherWe loved it! Very quiet and peaceful. Located by an inlet of Lake Marion. After a busy day of sightseeing we would sit on the balcony and enjoy the quiet and watch the birds, squirrels and turtles.

DRCThis is a really nice, quiet resort. They have movie night with popcorn by the pool a couple times a week, and every day a different featured activity such as tie dying shirts, hot dogs by the pool, and a margarita day. The rooms are spacious, clean and nice. Full kitchen and balcony overlooking the lake. They have bike and boat rentals available. Nice place to go to relax and unwind. Only an hour drive to Charleston.
