Striper
The Striper bite is still doing good in 35 to 50 foot of water. Use the Carolina rig with live herring or shed for the best results. Also some schooling activity has been going on in front of Bonneau Beach in 30 foot of water.
Crappie & Bream
Bree and Crappie you’re still on the deep brush in 28 to 35 foot of water. For the Crappie small jigs like Charlie Brewer Slider in dark colors are working the best. Stay away from the brush and cast those small jigs to the fish. also a split cork with a live minnow works pretty good this time of year. For the bream you can get right over the brush drop down small jigs, baited with crickets, red worms or shrimp.
Catfish
The catfish bite is still going strong in 30 to 40 foot of water on top of the hills as well as in the deep canyon in 50+ foot of water cut Chad and cut herring on Santee Cooper Rigs is your best bait of choice.
