Jan CarringtonMy husband and I wanted to try Poogan’s Southern Kitchen since I read great reviews on Poogan’s Porch in Charleston. Great location on Summerville/nexton. We arrive early, around 4:30 and the place was empty. I was a little concerned. However, the menu has Signature Lowcountry Playes. My husband ordered Poogans Fsmous Fried Chicken and loved the flavor! The collard greens and Hoppin John were also excellent. I ordered the Fried Green Tomato BLT with fries and it was amazing! Next time we will make sure to get the deviled eggs. So many wonderful options. By the time we left, the place was filling up!

LeaAnn SmithI think I could eat here for every meal. We went for brunch and I really enjoyed it. The restaurant is set out in such a way that you don't feel crowded and it's decorated nicely. Our server was very nice and attentive. I had coffee, a pineapple mimosa and the Dog Bowl. Wow!! So good

Amanda PearsallFinally came here after living in the area for a few years and we have been missing out. The food was FANTASTIC. Best country fried steak my husband has ever had and the short rib Mac n cheese was 10/10. The bar tender took her time to make creative drinks for us, elevating our experience tenfold. We are new huge fans of Poogans and can’t wait to try the other branches. We will be back, and will definitely bring the pup when it cools down!
